Hey everyone! Just wanted to post Dan's Vday journal entry! I need to be better at posting his journal entries, but the nursing program keeps me so busy. Enjoy :)
2/14/11- "Happy Valentine's Day! Today was a good pday as always! At 7am we went to a missionary breakfast at the Stake President's! That was fun. We had pancakes, lots of toppings and fruit. I even wore the awesome pink tie that Brita sent me! Hmmm! I love it! We came home and Rice and I worked on our Zone Meeting that we've had no time to prepare for. We went to email and then Barnard and I went on splits because we're tight. We went to Walmart and I got paper for my letters plus the Star Wars stuff I hid and got them with the Walmart card I got from OE! We went home, changed and went to Qudoba's Mexican grill for lunch! Super fun. We went to football and I wrote Brita :). We got home and I really could finally take the time to open my Vday care packages!!! By the way, I wore my new Vday v-neck from my parents all day from when I changed! I love it and it fits perfect! I got : new cologne (I was totally hoping for that and it's so awesome and classy! :) Thank you!), Pixar shorts DVD (What a surprise! I don't have that! Wonder where they saw that!?), Narnia soundtrack (I'm listening to it right now and I love it!! I was totally hoping for that! :), all sorts of classy chocolates, Mickey and Minnie pez (in honor of DW this fall!! That's awesome! The Mickey was Dan and the Minnie was Brita! So cute!), a cute new Vday children's book called 'Love Splats' (I love it! Classic! :), piano hymns (I love it! I always love new piano instrumentals!!), Scatagories card game (Thanks! So thoughtful!), a Red Robin gift card (!! I was totally hoping for that!! :), and Vday cards from all my family!! Also the new awesome v-neck I mentioned and such a CUTE hugs and kisses banner of my nieces and nephews!! Mom always out does herself with those projects!! Thank you sooooo much dad and mom!!! It was sooo perfect and festive!!!! It made me so happy!! Then I opened Brita's package!! I got a hairdryer (feels so good! Totally hoping for one! :), "LOVE" blocks that she made (sooo cute and perfect! Thank you!!!), gum, the awesome pink tie, aquaphor, truffles (!! so good!!) and all the stuff to make pasta and pink sauce (!! So thoughtful! Can't wait!!) ands our classic Brita and Danny fruit!! Thank you sooo much honey!! You're all the BEST!! I read my Valentine from Brita, organized my stuff and we headed to dinner at the Kilnglers'. Guess what we had!? Heart shaped Papa Murphey's pizza and sparkling cider just like 2 years ago with Brita!!! Classic and festive! We went home to work on our meeting and had a lesson with Jordan and Kevin together! Jordan is SO gonna get baptized!! We taught the Gospel of Jesus Christ and they just ate it up! He's a stud. Kevin is already getting baptized on the 5th and we're hoping Jordan will commit for the same day! The ELECT! We came home and that was our amazing day and night!! Peace! XOXO Also I'm so grateful for Brita sending me Dayquil and cough drops because it's helping my cold!! :)"
